\ BooknewsInvestigates the possibility of articulating a coherent thesis of truth relativism within both a host correspondence theory of truth and a host coherence theory of truth. The type of relativism in question is "framework relativism", where truth is relativized to a framework of belief or to a conceptual theme. The author argues that a weak truth relativism proves to be coherently articulable and does not suffer from problems of self-inclusion. He goes on to argue that neither the propositional nor doxastic web versions of the coherence theory prove able to permit either weak or strong global truth relativistic theses to be coherently articulated. If you can keep all that straight, this book has found a reader. Annotation c. by Book News, Inc., Portland, Or.\ \
