The table of contents and index are complete. Appendices are very useful and include a very comprehensive glossary of pathology and procedures, prefixes and suffixes, and abbreviations with meanings. Flash cards and a diskette make it very friendly for those who need additional review. This is the third edition of this book, and an excellent learning tool for nursing and allied health students at all levels. The book is easy to use when review is needed for only one body system area as a refresher. The overall design and format are very easy to follow. Excellent learning exercises are provided in a number of different formats such as short answer, true/false, and multiple choice items. This colorful book is one that students can enjoy using and easily follow the instructions. Bookstores should definitely invest in this book.
