The book alerts the reader to focus on potential weak areas within the dissemination of the research project. Each chapter provides numerous clinical examples demonstrating the evidence-based application. The remaining chapters deal with the steps of the research process typically found in an introductory textbook. Among the book's unique features are the multiple choice questions at the end of each chapter, "Think Outside the Box" questions for further discussion scattered within chapters, and "Red Flag" boxes of important information to remember. Chapters contain scenarios with discussion questions or general discussion questions that are good for enabling students to apply what they've read. There is a companion web site for faculty and students.Assessment:This user friendly book should be useful to the target audience of students. It is a good introduction to the research process and its relevancy to nursing practice.
