C. T. SUN, PHD, is the Neil A. Armstrong Distinguished Professor inthe School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, and the recipient of the 2004 Purdue University Research Award. Dr. Sun teaches com
